Janice Kasprzak-Sarno

RPA-C.

Janice has over 25 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine. She completed her undergraduate work at Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx, New York where she was on the Dean’s List and is a member of the Tri-Beta National Honor Society. She graduated from the Touro College Physician Assistant program with a scholarship from the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. She remained on the Dean’s List and received the honored Clinical Achievement Award at graduation. Janice is ACLS certified as well.

She continues her career in vascular surgery as a vital team member working with the physicians in her office practice focusing on preoperative and postoperative care, surveillance of long-term vascular conditions, lymphedema control, wound care, and performing sclerotherapy for spider veins.

Stacy Henderson

PA-C

Stacy Henderson PA-C has been practicing as a surgical Physician Assistant for over 21 years. After graduating from the City College of New York Physician Assistant program, she began her career at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and later at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, practicing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as for numerous renown plastic surgeons in their private practices as a first surgical assistant. She also worked at Beth Israel Hospital in New York for the Department of Surgery, assisting in general surgery, as well as vascular surgery.

In 2002 she was chosen to join the practice of Dr. Alan Dietzek as his Physician Assistant. She has extensive experience in evaluating and managing patients with all types of vascular disease, including those with both peripheral arterial disease as well as venous disease. She is an expert in performing both liquid and foamed Sclerotherapy for the treatment of varicose veins and spider veins.

She has been published in the Surgical Physician Assistant Journal and spoken publicly on the treatment of venous disease. She is one of the first Physician Assistants to be accepted as a member into the American Venous Forum and is a member of the Vascular Surgical Society of Southern Connecticut.
